Job Description

Sellick Partnership have an outstanding chance to add real value as a Commercial Finance Manager with a fast paced, growth minded multi-site retail organisation.As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will bring both your commercial and technical ability to the table, to drive margin initiatives through both operational cost reduction and a strategic pricing focus, partnering senior stakeholders such as ProcurementDirectors, Commercial Directors and Operations. With a focus on store operational costs, you will get under the skin of the business, work with operational and site directors to drive efficiencies, reduce cost and provide the business the ability to drive commercial decisions to benefit both the companyand end user. The Role:

  • Business Partnering Operations, Procurement Directors and other Senior Stakeholders
  • Ownership of £200m + cost base
  • Deliver commercial insight, strategic planning and cost reduction
  • Review and advise of Risks & Opportunities
  • Assist in driving the migration of systems
  • Commercial pricing review and drive new initiatives
The Commercial Finance Manager will come from a strong accountant background with commercial experience, with a real value add focus. You will be keen to question the numbers, provide insight and recommend strategic initiatives to reduce cost and maximiseefficiencies across the group.As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be a fully qualified accountant ( ACA , CIMA , ACCA , or Equivalent) ideally from a multi-site retail, manufacturing or logistics background delivering savings on cost to serve.
