Our client is a manufacturer of special purpose machinery, due to expansion they are looking for a skilled and experienced apprentice trained or time served machinist who is used to operating, setting and part programming of CNC millers and lathes to complete 1 offs and specials in their machine shop.The work will be mainly Turning and Milling.The hours are 37 spread over 4 nights per week between Monday and Thursday with Friday being overtime when worked.Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/MachiningRole:Production of components to drawingsMonitor ad request tooling when requiredEnsure a clean and safe working areaOccasional assistance in the fitting shop.Skills and ExperienceApprentice-trained in Mechanical EngineeringAble to use a wide range of measuring instrumentsAble to use the most common conventional machines in a M/C shop environmentMachinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining/Centre LatheIf you like the idea of a 4 night week then APPLY NOW!
