Job Description

Cloud Engineer (DevOps, Cloud, Site Reliability Engineering)Location: LeedsSalary: Up to £80,000This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Cloud Engineer to work for one of the top three digital consultancy firms in the UK. Whilst working alongside expert technologists, you will be managing the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation to help customers work faster, smarter and better.If you have a passion for leading the design of significant components of a modern digital service platform, including its automation, build, deployment and support, our client requires your help as a Cloud Engineer. You will be operating in a fast based,team-focused environment where you will be trusted to make logical decisions whilst also learning about the most innovative technologies.The successful Cloud Engineer must have:

  • Demonstrable experience of Public Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience of multiple configuration management, infrastructure provisioning and automation tools (Terraform/Powershell/Ansible)
  • Demonstrable experience in designing, building, testing, automating and supporting significant components with a modern digital service platform in production environments
  • Strong experience of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Octopus/Teamcity)
  • The ability to apply leading industry practices and patterns across infrastructure and application components, e.g. security, elasticity, performance
  • Experience of containerization - Docker/Kubernetes
