We have a fantastic opportunity for a Client Manager to join us at our offices in Leeds.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced and customer focused individual who is well organised, with strong attention to detail and great communication skills. You will look to retain and grow our level of business with clients through the provision of reliableservices and innovative supply chain development initiatives.What will I be doingYou will build, manage and develop relationship with key client stakeholders across all relevant functionsUnderstand the clients business and supply chain strategy and align this within EV Cargo Global ForwardingYou will own account management plans and development plansCollaborate with the client to improve service levels, reduce cost and add value in the supply chain, all in line with the clients key objectives.Drive specific initiatives and ensure value generated is identified and trackedLead and take ownership of monthly operations meetings, quarterly business reviews and other developmental meetingsUncover and develop opportunities to add new business to the group, co-ordinating across the group on live opportunitiesTake ownership of the customer profit & loss statement, all contracts (Supply Chain Management & Freight), and the commercial relationshipEnsure key performance indicators are in place to cover all aspects of the operation, all products and geographiesAct as the escalation point on operational issuesBe the company ambassador for the client internally, projecting EV Cargo Global Forwarding values towards the client, and harness the capability of the global network to the benefit of the clientEnsure customer is correctly billed and pay on timeTranslate emerging client needs into the development of the supply chain management productProactively share best practices internallyProvide guidance and support to the client team, completing monthly 121s with direct reportsWhat are the requirements At least 5 years within a supply chain / freight forwarder background At least 1 years experience working in a similar role You will have excellent communication skills, spoken and written Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers Excellent attention to detail, friendly and helpful nature Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines Able to handle difficult situations Strong PC Literacy including Word & Excel Looking for a future career and progression within a growing company Must hold a full UK driving licenceWho are weWe are EV Cargo Global Forwarding, a supply chain and logistics company and one of the UKs largest freight forwarders.
