Job Description

Are you a communications manager with organisational change experienceHave you worked on a large scale, complex change or transformation programmeWe have secured our largest every investment into modernising our EPR system and are pushing forward with a bold programme to migrate all our clients. The new system combined with our services, that is what makes us different to others, will transform the waythe NHS can run its finances. This change will impact lots of people working in the NHS, in a wonderful way!This is a super opportunity for a highly skilled change communications manager to join an ERP implementation programme at a pivotal time! You will have shown success in creating and delivering sophisticated communications strategies to varied audiences, adeptat working across different department to support the change initiative.Reporting to the Programme Lead, alongside a dynamic and experienced Programme team, you will build a clear strategy, understanding how it will impact our clients and what they need to do to change. You will develop and support the creation and execution ofprogramme messaging, at all levels within our client base and own organisation, depending on the impact of change, across different online and offline channels.To lead and co-ordinate these activities, the role requires a strong doer and analytical problem solver who can simplify requests into manageable outputs. Someone who can work as part of a team but also independently, all the time working in a diplomatic andpractical manner to win hearts and minds. A self motivated individual with a shown track-record of handling communications for a major technology change programme would be extraordinary in this role.What you will be doing:

  • Delivering a Communications Strategy & Plan, and to deliver in a way that fully engages the clients and our business, working closely with the programme team to ensure messages are engaging, accurate and appropriate.
  • Crafting and assisting in the delivery of communications to our NHS clients who are impacted by the change programme in line with the strategy and plan
  • Engaging with different partners across the business and client base to gain input and feedback to continually refine messaging and finesse the management of communication activities.
  • Own and lead all communications and be responsible for ensuring communications are delivered on time and in budget.
You will need to have:
  • Degree qualified/equivalent
  • Experience working on large scale sophisticated change and transformation programmes and / or ERP change programmes in the public sector (people, process & systems)
  • General consultancy and client relationship skills, especially ability to engage and influence senior partners
  • Ability to write and implement communications across a breadth of media
  • Good project management skills with shown ability to prioritise and lead tasks and budgets
  • Working knowledge of organisational change
It would be great if you have:
  • Certificate or qualification in business change management
  • Solid understanding of the provider healthcare sector
