Job Description

CCTV Control Room Manager – £24,000-£28,000 per year – LeedsThe RoleAre you a SIA CCTV licence holder with a sound knowledge of CCTV monitoring and software If so, the leading independent security provider in Yorkshire are looking for a CCTV Control Room Manager.The successful candidate will Manage and supervise Control Room Officers and Mobile SupervisorsThe key responsibilities of a CCTV Control Room Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and manage detailed CRO handovers; Monitoring of various alarm systems and carrying our appropriate procedures.
  • Ensure all security equipment and monitoring systems are regularly checked and tested to ensure maximum operational effectiveness and any deficiencies are reported.
  • Identify and organise training.
  • Acting as a point of contact between Control Room officers and management.
  • Maintenance of the Control Room integrity and in the protection of its assets, ensuring Control Room is maintained in a state of continual operational readiness.

All our Officers are SIA licensed and vetted to British Standard BS7858.The PersonThe key skills and qualities of a CCTV Control Room Manager:
  • SIA CCTV licence holder with a sound knowledge of CCTV and manned guarding.
  • Understanding and ability to use computer systems in operation within the Control Room.
  • Excellent man management skills.
  • Able to use basic Microsoft Office tools to produce documents and reports.
  • Experience using CCTV monitoring systems.
  • Preferable: experience of using/administering Immix, able to use advance Microsoft Office tools to produce documents and reports.
