Job Description

We work with our customers on the planning, creation and delivery of their marketing communications.We have world-class specialist production and sourcing capabilities that can revolutionise our customer’s supply chain and produce communications whether they contain a marketing, compliance or customer service message in the form of a statement, e-mail, invoice, direct mailing or billTHE ROLEElectronic Content Management (ECM) Imaging & Workflow (Inbound), support the design, creation, delivery of managed document life cycle solutions. We enable our customers to have access to industry leading document life cycle solutions that focus on value, flexibility, quality and cost control.You will be a member of the Capture Solutions team within ECM Technical Team; which is responsible for the implementation and support of technologies within the Inbound Operation.KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Support the day to day operational function by ensuring that issues within the scanning and Imaging platform are fully investigating and resolved in a timely manner
  • Integrate with delivery teams (both internal & external) to support investigations that require escalation
  • Assist in conducting route cause analysis (RCA) investigations into production incidents
  • Support platform change by ensuring that new technologies being delivered are fit for purpose and meet operational requirements
  • Foster and drive a culture of innovation among peers and within ECM team
  • Monitor and calibrate operational MI to ensure effectiveness on platform reporting
    • WHAT YOULL BRINGTo be successful in this role you will have sound knowledge of the operational imaging environment and the ability/experience to support the operation from a technical perspective.Ideally you will have a strong combination of the following
  • Production system experience - has lived with the impact of software and system design decisions on manageability, supportability, troubleshooting.
  • experience using Imaging & Workflow and/or Content solutions
  • Ability to maintain existing components and frameworks to support the document life cycle, and support/influence the design of component enhancement.
  • Demonstrate and apply exemplary engineering skills and practices.
  • A track record of the required experience demonstrated on a real production platform or system is a must, as are a "can-do" attitude and an ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary, internal and external distributed teams.
  • Foster and drive a culture of innovation within own team and among peers.
  • Exposure to Imaging & Workflow solutions.
  • Exposure to SQL and programming languages.
  • Confidence to express own opinions, and be pragmatic about modifying them when appropriate.
  • Passionate about technology and its application to real-world problems
    • A track record that demonstrates experience on an operational platform or system is a must, as are a "can-do" attitude and an ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary, internal and external distributed teams across the project life cycle. Required skills
