Job Description

Have you ever wanted to work within the civil service Are you confident speaking on the phone and working with data Brook Street are looking for 5 candidates to join our client the Insolvency Service as Call centre advisors.

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week (9-5)
  • Location: Leeds city centre- Full time in the office for training, may go hybrid working after training
  • Contract length: Temporary ongoing. Chance of extension subject to business requirements and permanent opportunities may arise
  • Pay - £10.98ph
Overview:The Insolvency Service are a government agency that helps to deliver economic confidence by supporting those in financial distress, tackling financial wrongdoing and maximising returns to creditors.As part of the role you will be responsible for
  • Receiving and recording customer queries via telephone, email and other support channels.
  • Resolving routine queries at first point of contact where possible
  • Resolving enquiries about customers live claims
  • Acting as the main point of contact and liaising between customers and support teams.
  • Additional administrative duties across the wider team as required
  • Supporting customers with their Debt relief orders (DRO) and bankruptcy claims
About You
  • Experience of working within a customer service role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask across various systems such as call logging systems and outlook.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment with experience of prioritising your workload.
  • Be an excellent team player who will also take opportunities to share knowledge across the team where possible.
  • Experience of working within a continuous improvement culture.
