Over the last 17 years we have developed strong partnerships with major businesses in the industry and are now looking to capitalise on the developing roll-out of fibre connections across the UK.Light Source are recruiting for direct labour cable pulling operatives across Yorkshire & Lancashire.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities• Rope, Roping and installation of underground cabling and / or subducts where applicable• Blowing of fibre using appropriate equipment• Civils avoidance techniques including use of desilting machines• Completion of all job related paperworkWhat we need from you• Willing to work away from home including overnight stays if required.• Full UK driving license• Work in a team of 2• Work to tight deadlines• Work in confined spaces where required• Weekend working if requested• Be computer literate• Adhere to Light Source Health & Safety policies• NRSWA Compliance• Valid BT accreditations preferable• Willing to attend necessary training courses• DBS checkWhat do we offer• Competitive Salary with annual leave and pension contribution• Full Tooling, PPE and uniform• Fully kitted company vehicle per team• Good opportunity for career progressionIf you believe you have the skill and experience to be successful in this role then apply today!
