Job Description

  • Support the Buyer on all day to day responsibilities.
  • Management of trackers, price file, range plans and POs.
Client DetailsAn Ecommerce Homeware retailer in the Leeds area. The business sells several different products for the home. They have been featured in GQ, Home & Garden to name a few. Due to strong trade over the last 8 months they are now looking to expand their Buying& Merchandise team.Description
  • Support the Buyer on all day to day responsibilities.
  • Management of trackers, price file, range plans and POs.
  • Support the Buyer by displaying a clear understanding of the companies customers, ensuring the demographics needs are understood and put at the heart of the product.
  • Manage supplier shipments, production and critical paths ensuring the information is effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders each week (temporary).
  • Ensure trade actions and notes are completed each week timely.
  • Own comp shops and weekly competitor updates to present at trade.
  • Proactively reviewing the website to ensure the customer shopping experience of our ranges is easy and that copy, pricing amends and general housekeeping are feedback to marketing.
  • Management of re-merchandising ranges on site to help maximise sales opportunities.
  • Support the Buyer with design/trend to interpret and adapt to market trends and direction, targeting the needs of the customer.
  • Work with buying and merchandising to analyse historical sales in line with trends and design direction to gain better understanding of category performance.
  • Work with the buyer to understand the buying process for multiple categories.
  • Responsible for the product launch packs and product launches across categories.
  • Responsible for product & sample management in order to meet the company standards.
  • To actively participate in coordinating and presenting in any meetings attended.
  • To work with Buyer in setting and delivering the strategy for the department.
  • To develop strong working relationships with, and understanding of, internal roles such as merchandising, QC, suppliers, marketing, ops, customer service.
  • Support and attend photo-shoots where required.
Profile
  • Work experience as a Buying Admin Assistant, Buying Assistant or similar
  • Experience working with a Critical Path
  • Ideally homeware, textiles or apparel experience
  • Strong administration skills
  • Proactive and positive Can do attitude
