Job Description

Responsible for purchasing administration including, but not limited to updating owings, chasing deliveries & working with generic manufacturers and wholesalers. The successful candidatewill be organised, articulate and confident, with a proven track record in an administrative role. This is an excellent introduction into Buying.Responsibilities

  • Updating the owings report daily to allow Customer Service team to contact patients with updates
  • Daily ordering of products with manufacturers and wholesalers
  • Negotiating prices with wholesalers
  • Owner of orders/deliveries with suppliers as per the schedule
  • Review forecasted numbers with suppliers and Buying Manager
  • Owner of stock availability reports to ensure stock holding is at its optimum
  • Organise returns, stock transfers, product set up and recalls as required
  • Reporting concession price issues to ensure profit remains key
  • Use market intel from suppliers to keep the OOS/ND system up to date with lines that are unavailable
  • Work stock availability reports to ensure is stock holding is at its optimum
  • Prepare reporting for supplier meetings
  • Alert the Customer Service team to any supply issues or any held up orders
  • Respond to CS query emails in line with the SLA
Skills
  • Proven track record of administrative excellence
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines
  • Proven experience of making and receiving phone calls
  • Strong communication skills and proven experience of managing multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed deadlines
  • Self motivated
