Job Description

Here, youll grow as a person and develop your career.The Business School Manager will be responsible for the creation, running and on-going development of the Business School ensuring it delivers a modern approach to developing the skill-set and mindset of our people to support the growth of the business.Reporting to the Head of Talent and Development this role will build the Business School curriculums across a broad range of subject areas. The role will also engage with, manage and support a range of L&D initiatives, development programmes, and relationships across the business.You will also be working closely with Senior Managers and HR Business Partners to identify learning and development needs within different functions with a particular focus on ensuring return on investment.We are looking for energetic professional people who are excited by the difference they can make.The role:

  • Support the creation and development of the Business School, leading its development to become a world class learning hub
  • Design, implement and reinforce interventions to support informal learning, such as coaching and mentoring, on-the-job instruction, leadership shadowing and action-based learning measuring business needs and devising appropriate training solutions that meet these
  • Work with and manage effective relationships with the business to build/design different learning and development programmes/initiatives that meet business requirements
  • Source and manage external partners to support the design and delivery of business critical training and development requirements, ensuring delivery is tracked and ROI achieved
  • Organise contracts and logistics to support coaching and ad hoc development requirements
  • Monitor ROI and develop creative approaches to meeting operational and leadership development requirements.
  • Responsible for the design and development of a range of operational training, including product deployment, regulatory mandatory training and route to CAS across various cohorts
    • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ideally CIPD qualified with a Level 4 Financial Planning qualification highly desirable
  • Extensive relevant professional experience and leadership experience within a L&D environment, ideally within wealth management and / of financial services
  • Experience developing and implementing a broad range of curriculums, standards & processes, ideally across varying industries to bring an external view
  • Experience in managing in an outsourced learning environment, evidencing ability to identify best in class training providers, and the effective on-boarding and management of the supplier
  • Experience of developing a blended approach to learning, coupling face to face learning with new technologies and approaches
