MBA are proud to partner one of Yorkshires most innovative technology organisations in their search for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer on a permanent basis.You will be based on client site - Leeds with remote / home working opportunities BI Developer: Overview Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager as part of a customer focused team delivering innovative solutions to empower the business The role is responsible for ensuring we deliver the full benefits from the investment we have made in our business intelligence capability, to improve the quality of decision making and financial reporting across the whole organisationBI Developer: Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partner:* Develop relationships with key stakeholders through regular business partnering sessions* Planning of agile sprint and task prioritization meetings held regularly with users across the business* Acting as a Senior Business Analyst to define reporting requirements and process improvement opportunities, seeking regular feedback during the planning, developing and testing lifecycle of a Qlikview report developmentETL data transformation and optimisation:* Use Qlikview scripting to Extract, Transform and Load data into front end QV reports* Working with user requirements and applying an understanding of Data Warehouse and General Ledger tables to extract, merge and transform data sets for optimized performance of front end reporting* Experience in: Qlikview, MSSQL, PowerBi, SSRS or equivalentData visualisation and BI reporting:* Develop and maintain company-wide Qlikview reports* Providing detailed financial reporting, applying an understanding of financing and funding processes.* Rapid response to ad-hoc queries and small change requests* Attention to detail is required to ensure all reports are accurate and deliver clear insights into the underlying data* Continuous development of company-wide reports* Responsible for identifying, agreeing and implementing business definitions and ensuring their consistent application into all reports* Maintain consistent look and feel for all reporting* Adhere to agreed version control and process management across QV applications* Ongoing self-development of technical QV scripting and report building skills* Assisting the wider team in management of tasks and workflow in line with business requirements* Experience in: Qlikview, MSSQL, PowerBi, SSRS or equivalentQlikview Server AdministratorQV Server Management of User Licenses, document security and scheduled report reloadsBI Developer - Experience Excellent customer service and communication skills* IT skills to include Database ETL and BI Visualisation* Excellent attention to detail* Windows Server performance optimisationKnowledge /Qualifications* Educated to Graduate level or equivalent* Understanding of client service levelsExperience* BI Reporting Tool data visualisation and client reporting* ETL data transformation and optimisation for BI Reporting* Defining Business Requirements* Expert at detail data analysis* Personal Characteristics* Confident with excellent interpersonal skills* Flexible to work outside core hours* Organised with the ability to prioritisePerks* Company pension scheme* Flexible working / holidays* Training is provided supporting you towards achieving the accreditations and certifications* Bonus* Company Car OR Cash EquivalentSalary: £35,000 / £40,000 +For an informal discussion please contact:
