Job Description

Are you an experienced Sales Manager looking for a new challengeAre you a creative thinker with excellent relationship building skillsWe are excited to be working with a small, friendly and growing manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Leeds with the recruitment for a Sales Manager.Due to growth plans, they are looking to recruit an ambitious, commercially minded and experienced Business Development Manager to join the business. This is a new role to the business so the position would suit someone who has previous sales experiencelooking for a new challenge, who is able hit the ground running and bring new and exciting ideas and sales plan to really make this position their own.The role;

  • Identifying and generating new business opportunities
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with new customers, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers
  • Cold and warm lead calling, face to face meetings
  • Using CRM system to manage a pipeline of sales
  • Monthly reporting
  • Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline forecast
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
Previous experience required;
  • Previous business development/sales experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Warm and cold calling experience
  • Sales leadership
  • Excellent communicator
  • Key account development
  • Building strong relationships
  • Strategic planning
Position: Business Development ManagerHours: Full Time | Monday to Friday Salary: Up to £40,000, OTE £55,000-£60,000pa uncapped + Company Car
