Job Description

Business Development Manager

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Remote Position (Need to be based within North of England)
  • Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus bonus
Tide has forged a strategic partnership with a rapidly expanding Private Healthcare company specialising in Supported Living. Currently, this provider are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for the North West region of England.Job OverviewAs the Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to steer the organisation towards meeting its financial objectives. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding relationships with Local Authorities in the North ofEngland.Your efforts will be instrumental in driving referrals and striving to achieve the highest possible occupancy rates.
  • Oversee and support the Commercial teams leadership responsibilities.
  • Develop business relationships with local authorities, CQC, and ICB’s in your region.
  • Mentor and guide the team in executing their business plans.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Manager to identify necessary contracts for new areas.
  • Lead the development of new services, including identifying tender opportunities, writing proposals, and overseeing tender processes.
  • Attain the highest Occupancy rate to help meet the financial goals of the organisation..
  • Plan strategies aligned with company objectives..
  • Manage internal and external relationships.
  • Conduct due diligence in new areas.
  • Create business cases for board approval.
  • Collaborate with property partners.
  • Define referral pathways for new services.
  • Be a positive ambassador and active team member.
Job Criteria
  • Proven experience in business development or a related field within the care sector.
  • Strong networking abilities with a track record of building successful relationships.
  • A passion for person-led services and an understanding of co-production principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving growth targets.
  • Knowledge of the local authorities and the complex care market in the Midlands/North of England region is advantageous
