A really varied and exciting opportunity for a Marketing and BD Executive to join a quality law firm and work closely with the small team of marketing and BD specialists to drive the growth of the business. Ideally the role will be based in Sheffield or Leeds.The role will be involved to a certain extent in the delivery of a wide range of the marketing and BD mix. You will be involved with marketing and communications, creating compelling content for on and off line campaigns and channels. You will be involved with business development, with key account management and bid management. Events (when they pick up again off line) will be another part of the role profile. As it is a fairly small team, the extent of your involvement in many of these activities will be largely down to your own drive and determination to get involved and there will be ample room for you to take ownership and drive through your own ideas.This is a great opportunity for someone at the fairly early stages of their legal marketing and BD career, who wants to understand how all the different elements fit together to drive business. Someone who has maybe reached the limits of where there current role will allow them to go and wants to take on more ownership of what they are doing, whilst still being supported and developed by more experienced marketers. In order to be successful you will need to have some experience working in legal or professional services marketing and BD previously. You will be a strong relationship builder and influencer who can work well within the profession and steer partners and associates through what is required of them to meet the BD targets. The role is offering a competitive salary in an environment which will support new ideas and individuals who want to bring their value to the table. There will be a period of time where the role will be flexible working but once we are into 2021 properly then you will be required in the office on a regular basis (split time with working from home is a likely option though).
