Job Description

Business Development Consultant£25,000 - £27,000 + Great Commission scheme plus fantastic benefits programmeLeedsThis role profile is blend of both the job description and person specification and clearly demonstrates the relationship between specific tasks and personal attributes. It is not exhaustive but is intended to give an overview of the role which will naturallychange from time to time in line with business requirements.Role Purpose: This role enables you to develop your sales experience by building relationships with key stakeholders, while working with a team that are committed to making a difference.Job Responsibilities

  • Working with Business Development team to increase account penetration throughout the England and Wales.
  • Liaising with New Business and Recruitment Teams to identify areas of high supply and demand for focused selling opportunities.
  • Meeting Booking- booking meetings and opening appointments for Regional Business Managers with commissioning groups and other potential funders (Local authorities, private case managers, solicitors)
  • Direct Selling- developing warm leads via telephone and developing business opportunities at buyer level.
  • Sales Scoping and Mapping - Identifying and recording key contacts and Intel within identified client base.
  • Data base & Pipeline Management- managing pipeline of clients and new business opportunities.
  • Input and Support with Sales Strategy.
Experience / Skills
  • Demonstrable experience of generating leads for new business
  • Ability to develop and manage client relationships
  • Ability to get past gate keepers
  • Telecoms experience - within a sales or recruitment environment
  • Experience in cold calling
  • Experience in collating data, market intelligence and managing a pipeline of clients
  • Ability to meet deadlines and excellent time management skills
