Job Description

The RoleJob Title - Branch Sales ManagerThe RoleJoin the fastest growing national specialist insulation and dry lining distributor in the UK!Due to consistent growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Branch Sales Manager to come into a growing business and really take a commercial lead. As a Branch Sales Manager with Minster, you will set high standards of customer experience and build successfulworking relationships with customers, staff and suppliers to deliver sustainable profitable sales growth and gain market share within the marketplace.This role is temporarily operating from Hunslett LS10 but will be moving to Morley LS27 in mid to Late August as a new purpose build branch is in construction.With managerial responsibility for a sales team, you will take develop all sales activity and thrive on delivering exceptional levels of customer service.Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Clean driving license (essential)
  • Proven experience in managing/leading teams.
  • Proven experience in customer facing business.
  • Proven track record of financial/commercial success.
  • Proven experience in a proactive sales/customer focused environment.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to work within a team locally and nationally.
  • Knowledge of the dry lining and interiors industry preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient MS Office package skills Package
  • Key Results Areas.
  • Support the Site Operations Manager to ensure that both staff and customers are free from accidents and that all parties actively endorse a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Ensure individual and team compliance with the Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action.
  • Management and planning of day to day Sales Team functions taking responsibility for problem solving and managing situations arising
  • Work to identify and action individual and team training needs.
  • Achievement and proactively drive through the team, the Key Performance Indicators to agreed standards, incorporating sales growth, sales and margin targets, customer base growth and customer spend targets, and customer service initiatives.
  • Build close and trusted working relationships with operational colleagues to ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction are delivered to customers and in order to achieve companys goals
  • Work with the Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Regional Director to define and implement Regional sales plans
  • Develop and manage branch customer portfolio
  • Develop effective supplier relationships in order to maximise customer sales opportunities
  • Maximise opportunities to continually learn about new products and regulations and to improve selling skills
Key Results Areas.
  • Develop and sustain Supplier relationship with key product providers within the marketplace in line with the agreed product range
  • Build close and trusted working relationships with operational colleagues to ensure excellent levels of customer service and satisfaction are delivered to customers and in order to achieve companys goals
  • Ensure that the branch is the best provider of customer service locally and nationally as
  • defined by the Customer.
  • Support and delivery of all Company Customer Service initiatives.
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by your Line Manager
