Job Description

The Bid Manager is responsible for ensuring Hippos chances of securing the work are maximised through the submission of compliant quality bids.What you will do:

  • Manage a range of public sector bids for User Centred Design and Agile consultancy work (experience of Digital Marketplace procurement process desirable)
  • Establish necessary planning, monitoring, review and reporting required to ensure bid processes working as required
  • Maintain content library to refresh and restructure response content as required
  • Track and monitor overall bid performance
  • Ensure all possible bid frameworks identified and submissions completed in a timely fashion to for Hippos inclusion on relevant framework sections
  • Ensure all possible bids identified from relevant sources at the point of publication
  • Bid planning completed with the response manager to ensure:
  • Questions understood in detail, storyboarding where appropriate
  • Any clarification questions identified and written in unambiguous language
  • If required, seek agreement to submit clarifications if possible answers provide advantage to competitors
  • Identify possible case studies (or other material as required) to answer each question, ensuring fit of case studies to bid and not over-reliant on specific case studies
  • Identify possible contributors to submission outputs
  • Experience of managing a bid process from start to finish
  • A methodical and detailed approach in order to manage multiple bids at any one time with various stakeholders
