They believe that the skills gained within bid management and / or writing (bid / copy / creative) roles provide a great platform for joining their team as a Bid Consultant.What are they offering* Role: Full time, Permanent; Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week), although some flexibility may be required from time to time* Location: Leeds City Centre - predominantly office based, although currently operating remotely in line with Covid-19 guidelines* £30,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience* Pension scheme* Bonus linked to company performance* 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)What skills / experience do I need* Relevant experience in a bid management / writing (or similar) role* University graduate (or similar) in a relevant discipline* Excellent editing and written communications skills* Attention to detail* Strong project management skills and able to prioritise workload effectively* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines* Strong interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team* Strong customer focus and desire to help them win* Highly capable user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookTell me more about the roleAs a Bid Consultant, you will primarily lead / manage tenders on behalf of our customers, which includes:* Managing subject matter experts through the tender production process, ensuring the resultant response is compelling and high scoring* Utilising various tools to assist subject matter experts with the production of their answers* Reviewing / editing answers and providing written / oral feedback and guidance* Participating in a variety of customer meetings* Portal managementOther aspects of the role include:* Acting as a point of contact for customer queries, building close and trusted relationships* Assisting customers in optimising their business development and bidding processes* Using online procurement portals, identifying and sharing possible tender opportunities for both the company and their customers* Supporting customers in preparing for presentations including facilitating meetings, preparing slide content, and observing and feeding back on "dummy" presentations.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are keen to further hone their business skills in a dynamic environment, including proposal / tender writing, strategic consultancy, training and sales.To apply for this role, please submit an up-to-date CV detailing how your experience matches the requirements listed.Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application.
