MBA are proud to partner one of West Yorkshires most innovative technology organisations in their search for an experienced Bi Project Manager on a Contract basis.Hybrid working between Leeds & RemoteBi Project Manager - Overview:* Proactively managing and leading transformation to the New Data Platform* Manage relationship with team from Strategic Delivery Partner and internal team* Proactively ensuring business priorities are agreed and planned* Shaping project plans with stakeholders and subject matter experts* Driving delivery to time, quality and costBi Project Manager - Responsibilities* Work in partnership with Strategic Delivery partner and Business sponsors to help shape appropriate project / phasing of work and ensure efficient delivery of new Data platform.* Ensure during the lifecycle of the project (including inception) all decision-making will maintain an on-going strong focus on financial viability.* Provide strong direction to the internal and partner Data teams, ensuring proactive management of milestones, risks and issues.* Promote a customer centric culture and maintain a focus on quality in every* Developing full planning and management documentation for each programme/set of projects.* Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with a defined methodology* Leading and motivating multi-disciplined project teams, prioritising the work which needs to be done to deliver the customer outcomes in the most efficient manner.* Manage and review resources on a regular basis. Proactively identify risks and issues in a timely manner and directly manage proposals for mitigation and corrective actions as required.* Constantly provides clear and strong direction and leadership to the transformation team* Working with internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, including 3rd party suppliers, to successfully influence and manage their expectations with regards to the project aims, timescales and the chosen project management approach through to successfuldeliveryBi Project Manager - Technologies & Skillset* Working knowledge of the Data Analytics domain and related technologies* Microsoft-focus across Visualisation, Data Vault/Lakehouse and Data Integration, e.g. PowerBI, Snowflake or MS Synapse Data services, SSIS integration.* Able to drive start-up of projects and provide both direction and knowledge in the set-up and execution of the delivery plan* Provide technical insight throughout the delivery plan* Expert in the various delivery techniques and quality assurance to ensure the appropriate design of delivery model (programme/ portfolio of work)* Comprehensive knowledge of delivery lifecycle techniques and ensure the most efficient delivery practices are deployed.* Skilful communicator able to explain complex situations clearly to stakeholders* Excellent ability to build relationships at across internal client groups and employees.* Able to lead / facilitate internal and external meetings* Able to collaborate with others to achieve the delivery outcome.* Ability to think and act commercially* Degree or equivalent qualification* Certified Project Manager (e.g. Prince 2, APM) and/or Relevant Agile / Scrum qualification (e.g. CSM)* Experience* Demonstrable experience and expertise in managing technical projects through to successful completion* Comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of project methodologies (waterfall, agile)* Working in an Agile environmentDay Rate:£500 / £650 pd Outside IR35Contract Duration (6 Months +) Leeds & Remote For an informal discussion please contact:
