Job Description

Backend Developer | Based in Leeds City Centre | £30,000-£40,000 | Hybrid Working | Flexible working hours | Remote working | Uncapped Bonus |The team at Ada Meher are currently resourcing for an experienced backend developer, to join our client- a cutting-edge digital agency based in the heart of Leeds City Centre.The company have established a wide reputation through consistently delivering world-class digital strategies and solutions for some of the UKs best-known brands. Currently operating as a team of 34, the business is large enough to provide a successful candidatethe room to grow, and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, but small and flexible enough to remain agile- no getting tied up in large agency politics!What were looking for/ Technical Skills:

  • PHP and experience with modern frameworks, i.e. Laravel, Symfony
  • Confident knowledge of JavaScript and associated frameworks; ideally Vue.js
  • Experience using relational databases, scheme design, and normalisation, i.e. MySQL, Postgres.
  • Experience working with APIsRESTful, SOAP etc.
  • A solid understanding of programmatic best practices and how to apply them i.e. OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles.
  • Experience with automated testing
  • A basic understanding of frontend build techniques is preferred.
Due to the companys diverse range of clients and sectors, the role provides you the opportunity to work on a range of projects; from gamification campaigns to comprehensive ecommerce solutions. No two projects are the same!The business is also offering flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work on a remote basis. Despite this, applicants should have full access to Leeds City Centre for weekly meetings.Benefits:
