Job Description

Would you like to become a part of an award-winning managed service provider who are looking for multiple AWS Architects to join the team The company do operate a flexible hybrid WFH policy and you will only be required to visit the office on occasion (oncea month avg).In this role you will be utilising your skill set as an AWS architect to provide technical leadership and support to the team to manage and deliver successful solutions. You will be able to provide technical viewpoints that will map the most strategic outcomesand benefits for the client, then formulate this into a plan which will be implemented.As the successful applicant, you will be dedicated to providing an exceptional level of IT support to the wider business. To achieve this you will:

  • Be AWS focused - experience of designing and implementing the AWS stack
  • Examine cloud apps, hardware, and software on a regular basis.
  • Respond to technical difficulties in a timely and competent manner.
  • Assist with infrastructure migration strategies, such as mass application transfers to the cloud.
  • Identify the best cloud architecture options to help the client accomplish its strategic goals.
  • Translating project-specific requirements into a cloud structure that meets those requirements, as well as taking into account the projects resource use and scalability requirements.
  • Designing the cloud environment from a comprehensive perspective, ensuring that it satisfies all of the clients needs.
Experience & proven hands-on knowledge:
  • Current AWS Architect certification
  • AWS Network design (Hub and spoke)
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery design
  • AWS Migration Assessment
  • AWS Scalability & Resilience patterns
  • AWS Storage options
  • AWS Elastic Beanstalk
  • AWS Backup and Site Recovery options
  • AWS Landing Zones
  • AWS Security Design
  • AWS Integration Services i.e., Kinesis and API Gateway
  • Terraform and CloudFormation Templates
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge and experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD automation.
  • Knowledge and experience of best practice for monitoring and alerting within AWS including the use of CloudTrail and CloudWatch
This is an incredibly technical role where you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the above systems.Benefits
