I have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Automation Tester to join my Global market leader as they continue to expand their IT functionWhat is the roleAs a Test Automation Engineer you will join a development team who work with numerous internal systems including ERP system and eCommerce. You will be an integral part of the development process, collaborating with software engineers and business analysts acrossthe software development lifecycle to develop automation test plans and understand business requirements and processes to define, construct and execute automated test scenarios/scripts.Key duties will include: Provide software quality assurance support to Software Development team through the provision of software test services. Adopting engineering disciplines focusing on automation and the use of automation in agile ways of working Planning of preparation and execution activities at a phase level based on the implementation of Automation Test preparation and production of test cases (focus on automation techniques, automation frameworks, automation scripting and implementation) Preparation of appropriate Test Packs based on Business Requirements. Take responsibility for execution of the system test phase of the development cycle. Recording of issues discovered by the automated tests accurately for triage and resolution.Experience and Skills needed as the Automation Tester are: Good commercial experience in Automation Testing Experienced in Agile methodologies Experience in technical testing using Open-Source automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, Java, Java Script, SOAP UI, Test Modelling)
