Job Description

The Ruth Gorse Academy is looking for an Attendance & Welfare Officer to join the support team at this forward thinking, innovative and dynamic school, starting September 2022.Attendance and Welfare OfficerLeeds, LS10 1HWFull Time, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 5 DaysSalary Grade C1 (SCP 12 - 17) £22,571 - £24,920 (Actual £19,370 - £21,386)Subject to a 6-month probationary periodPlease Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKWorking as part of The GORSE Academies Trust, The Ruth Gorse Academy ensures that students receive an outstanding education that focuses on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation. We are exceptionally proud of these results; our studentsstudied a rigorous academic curriculum and the results of our disadvantaged students, which were the second highest within the Leeds Local Authority, profoundly demonstrate the emphasis we place on ensuring all students, especially those from disadvantagedbackgrounds, have the opportunity to actively choose their next steps as opposed to having avenues closed off to them due to poor results or qualifications. Our students receive outstanding pastoral care, support and guidance and we would expect any successfulcandidate to be of a mind-set where they believe anything is possible.Led by Sir John Townsley, the nationally renowned GORSE Academies Trust is strong and united.
