Associate Transport Planner (Development)My Client are a Family run firm based in Leeds City Centre who specialise within Transport and Transport Planning. They work with a number of Regional and National Clients, such as major Housing groups, Planners and Architects.Due to sustained growth and successfully winning a number of new contracts with new clients, they are looking to increase their team with an Associate level Planner to help drive the business forward.This senior position would involve the undertaking of business development and work winning activities, in addition to working with the other Directors to build and manage the transport planning team. Closely aligned to the town planning and urbanism team,you will have exposure to civil engineering design projects from early master planning stage through to delivery of solutions on site across a wide-ranging number of Private & Public Realm schemesWith prior experience working in a Transport Planning consultancy, you will have a minimum of 8 years post degree experience and be able to comfortably demonstrate a strong practical knowledge of Junction 9 (ARCADY/PICADY), LinSig3 for the purpose of writingtransport assessments, statements and travel plans. In addition, prior experience of successfully obtaining new business as well as developing existing business as well as knowledge of modelling software (VISSIM, VISUM) would be advantageous.This role would suit someone looking to get out of the larger corporate structure wanting an opportunity to be in a very open culture with more flexibility to get involved with different work streams and have direct contact with clients.
