Our Local Streets team in Leeds is seeking an Associate Director withexperience of organising and leading design teams on highway and municipal engineering schemes.Projects we are currently working on include:

  • Armley Gyratory and A64 Corridor Improvements for Leeds city Council
  • A629 Phase 2 Halifax Town Centre for Calderdale Council
  • Tadcaster Road Improvements for York City Council
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation preliminary or detailed design and project delivery of traffic engineering, local transport, urban design/streetscape and local authority/municipal highway schemes.
  • Prepare detailed client briefs and fee proposals and contribute to major bids whilst developing client relationships.
  • Manage projects including monitoring financial performance.
  • Keep up to date with current best practice, techniques and innovation.
  • Sharing knowledge and supporting team to create a collaborative work environment including contribution to leadership of the Streets Team in Leeds office.
Minimum Requirements
  • A successful track record in the delivery of multiple municipal engineering projects with excellent technical and communication skills.
  • Experience of team management including technical development and mentoring of staff in the performance of their duties
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree
  • Chartered Engineer status is desirable
