Job Description

An Assistant Planner is required for a long term contract, starting asap until 2024, in Leeds. The role will pay c£25-28k on an hourly rate equivalent basis.Client DetailsA large, well known Leeds business who have a Worldwide customer base.DescriptionAs the Assistant Planner you will be responsible for:

  • Placing and updating purchase orders for Global Suppliers to an agreed SLA
  • Updating inbound and outbound delivery details
  • Placing and updating internal sales orders
  • Accurately maintaining the supply KPI trackers
  • Assisting with KPI reporting
  • Confirming supplier delivery dates and times of arrival on a daily basis
  • Working with a number of stakeholders across the business in the UK and Internationally
ProfileThe successful Assistant Planner will have:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically Excel - ESSENTIAL
  • The ability to work under pressure, to strict deadlines - ESSENTIAL
  • Previously worked in a similar planning position - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • Knowledge of the workings of a Supply Chain department - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • Previously used of SAP - DESIRABLE
