Job AdvertDo you have aworking knowledge of the Telecoms market Are you passionate about developing and delivering exciting propositions for customers How would you like to join one of the UKs fastest growing mobile networks We may have the role foryou!A unique opportunity has arisen to work within the Asda Mobile team based in Leeds, working collaboratively with our marketing, buying colleagues, and third parties.Our team decides the customer offer, working through the entire end-to-end product cycle. Youll get involved in every aspect of product development through to marketing, working in partnership with global giants (like Vodafone and Travelex) to emergingFinTech Start Ups, and all in between.Your RoleThe Commercial and Proposition Manager sets upand implementsthe strategy and propositions for the Asda Mobile network, ensuring our customers have access to the very best products and offers in the market.You will select, manage, and develop outsourced business relationships with partners Vodafonethe Asda Mobile network partner. You will be accountable for the Asda Mobile business plan, ensuring internal and external metrics are met, particularly Revenueand Profitability. You will take the lead on research, identifyingandevaluateany potential demand and commercial return for product developments and new services.Key focuses Include

  • Research, develop and deliver strategies and plans, including promotion and pricing plans, budgeting, forecasting, management / review of performance and responding to uncontrollable impacts (e.g., competitor strategies, supplier failure, reputational risk,media / public perception)
  • Ensure all 3rd party partners, namely Vodafone, comply with all contractual obligations and that Asda operate within all agreed frameworks
  • Lead and develop the Asda Mobile team to deliver key pricing, product and promotional strategies that fulfil the requirements of the overall MVNO business plan and vision
  • Work with a cross functional team of Asda Mobile colleagues to support the marketing acquisition and retention strategies
  • Negotiate long term contracts for product and service provision, involving key internal stakeholders
About You
  • Proven track record of relationship management and negotiation
  • Commercially astute and strategic with excellent operational and organisational skills
  • Effective communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ideally, have a broad knowledge of the Telecoms market, specifically MVNO / Wholesale
  • Experience developing a team of direct reports
