Area Sales Manager -Timber ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Timber ProductsIndustry Sector: Timber, Hardwood, Hardwood Timber Products, Panel Products, Timber Sales, Joinery Products, Joinery, Sawn Hardwoods, Softwood, Plywood, Timber Processing, Builders Merchants, Timber Merchants, Large Industrial End Users, Timber Panels, BusinessDevelopment, Field Sales, Area Sales, Kitchen Manufacturers, Joinery Manufacturers, Window & Door ManufacturesArea to be covered: North (ideally Yorkshire)Remuneration: £35,000 - 45,000 + (depending on experience) + negotiable bonusBenefits: Fully expensed company car or car allowance & full benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Timber Products will involve:

  • Area Sales Manager position promoted a distributed range of timber products
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling to joinery manufacturers, window & door manufacturers, kitchen manufacturers and staircase manufacturers
  • Small element of your role selling to & managing smaller independent timber merchants / distributors
  • Order values can range from £600-£10k+ depending on size and scope
  • Good blend of new business and account management
  • Revenue yet to be determined and will be set according to your experience
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Timber Products with:
  • Must have timber sales experience
  • Ideally hardwood experience however not essential
  • Would consider a branch manager working for a timber merchant
  • Ideally sold to joinery manufacturers, window & door manufacturers and kitchen manufacturers however to essential
  • Self-motivated individual that can work independently and as part of a team
  • Relationship builder, but also capable of new business development
  • Hungry and with a desire to succeed
