Job Description

Area Sales Manager (AdBlue) Location: Covering the North East of England and LincolnshireSalary: £25K - £40K, DOE + Car, Phone, Laptop and Medical InsuranceContract: Permanent, Full TimeTennants Distribution Limited is a leading distributor of chemicals. Based in the UK, we have an extensive network of strategically located depots providing a fast-nationwide delivery service.We act for many of the world`s leading chemical manufacturers and offer a comprehensive portfolio of products.Reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager, we are currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to increase the sales and manage existing clients within the AdBlue Industry.AdBlue is produced by Tennants in the UK at Group owned sites and marketed under the brand name of Greenox (which belongs to Tennants).We are the largest independent manufacturer of AdBlue in the UK and one of the top three suppliers overall.Ideally, you will live within the sales patch. Key responsibilities:

  • Selling AdBlue including full storage and dispensing solutions and negotiating supply agreements.
  • Dealing primarily with the end user but also supporting other sales channels such as parts distributors, vehicle dealerships, fuel and lubricant companies.
  • Selling the benefits of buying directly from one of the UKs largest manufacturers.
  • Actively maintain and build on current Business and Key Accounts within your area
  • Successfully source and develop new business opportunities throughout the sales area
  • The role will require significant travel within the designated territory and a full driving licence is required. The successful applicant:
  • Will have a sound knowledge of the Chemical Industry
  • Previous experience within the Sales and/or Commercial area of the industry
  • Be able to demonstrate the motivation and commitment necessary to succeed
  • Have the ability to nurture and grow new business opportunities
