Application Security Engineer / Technical Lead (Jenkins JIRA CI/CD) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a technologist with an extensive knowledge of Application Security seeking a role where you can take ownership and make a real impact You could be progressing your career at a fast growing FinTech solutions provider whose SaaS banking applications are helping to disrupt UK consumer banking and bring technology enabled change that effects peoples everyday lives.As a senior Application Security Engineer you will help guide a team of highly technical security analysts to ensure that the code produced by the company is free of vulnerabilities; youll take a high level overview of the companys security infrastructure and recommend the best security tools available to address the job at hand within a CI/CD environment. Youll take ownership of developing mitigation plans for vulnerabilities and risks as well as implementing security polices and techniques, collaborating with developers, DevOps and other engineers across the company to communicate the plan, policies and best practices around cyber security; youll develop metrics for security performance and risk monitoring and take the lead on security discussions with clients. Youll join a collaborative an upbeat team in newly established offices in Central Leeds; however youre not expected in the office everyday with 2-3 days work from home. The company can currently offer a fully remote interview / onboarding process as well as WFH.Requirements: *You have advanced experience with application-level vulnerability testing and auditing as well as the application of threat modelling and other risk identification techniques*You have a good knowledge of CI/CD including Jenkins and JIRA experience *You have an indepth knowledge of related security tooling e.g. Checkmarx, Rapid7, Fortify, WebInspect, Burp*You have strong analysis and problem solving skills with a "hackers mindset"*Youre experienced interacting with commercial software development teams in Agile development environments*You have some leadership / mentoring experience and are keen to share knowledge whilst continually learning As an Application Security Engineer / Technical Lead you will earn a competitive salary (to £110k) plus benefits including 25 days holiday and extra day for your birthday; pension, life assurance, discounted gym membership and team social events.Apply now or call to find out more about this Application Security Engineer / Technical Lead opportunity.
