By focussing on product and service innovation, our Technology & Operations division has evolved to become an innovative provider of solutions, identifying and anticipating the needs of clients across Link GroupJob DescriptionOverview:Working within the Dividends department with the focus on ensuring all dividends, interest payments and other departmental work is completed correctly within the set deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards in order to deliver service excellence to our clients. The individual will actively engage with their team, always contribute through taking on a fair share of duties/workloads and both portray and encourage a positive department-wide working spirit. The individual will proactively seek to further develop to their own skill-set and knowledge of dividends and the registrar business. As required, the individual will provide support and work within other business areas to help meet business goals.Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining strict adherence to all regulatory requirements as well as internal SLAs and event timetables.
  • Ensure workloads of the department are met through a personal contribution of taking on and completing an even share of the workloads, including in peak periods providing overtime working as required.
  • Review, understand and document requirements of all dividend events in order to develop and adopt specific working practices and procedures.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with internal procedures and to ensure any problems are escalated to a Supervisor or Manager immediately upon discovery.
  • Adopt a flexible approach and apply initiative to all aspects of work.
  • Effectively working with other Link support units and external business partners to ensure that the Client’s expectations of performance (timeliness, accuracy, etc) are met.
  • Focus on continued self-development in order to build and maintain a strong technical understanding of dividends.
  • Support the Supervisors and team management in order to achieve successful completion of all events.
  • Continually review and consider the effectiveness of the team and the procedures and to be pro-active in the creation and implementation of new ideas.
  • Maintain team (and department) morale and confidence by effective communication and adopting an approachable manner.
  • Utilise systems effectively in completion of the tasks particularly with reference to spreadsheet and database solutions.
