Our continuedinvestment in our proprietary technology platforms allows us to automate wealth management workflows, manage large consumer and member bases or provide insights through predictive analytics. By focussing on product and service innovation, our Technology &Operations division has evolved to become an innovative provider of solutions, identifying and anticipating the needs of clients across Link Group.OverviewTo facilitate the core services around custody operations, responsible for carrying out processing tasks relating to work received by CED Custody team. These tasks and any other associated tasks must be completed in compliance with all relevant FCA regulations.Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with internal and external procedures and FCA regulations.
  • Oversee some tasks potentially being undertaken in other locations.
  • Ensure that all complaints received are dealt with in accordance with the defined procedures.
  • Ensure that any incidents or breaches are reported in accordance with procedures.
  • Ensure all PEGA (internal workflow) email queries are investigated and answered.
  • Perform required daily tasks in relation to Crest GUI functions where required.
  • Monitor email mailboxes and investigate and answer any queries
  • Assist with the investigation and clearing of stock and cash differences (Query Logs).
  • Investigate and resolve any reconciliation issues, liaising with areas concerned and reporting any issues to the Supervisor.
  • Provide accurate daily statistics for Management Information.
  • Ensure any issues/queries are escalated promptly to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure the key controls you are responsible are carried in a timely manner, any issues highlighted are addressed and followed through to resolution.
  • Support and assist other team members during busy periods, holidays and absence.
  • Complete all monthly mandatory training and quarterly reading within the prescribed timescales.
  • Ensure your functions are performed within the framework of the CASS rules.
Experience & Personal Attributes
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in a similar field of work.
  • Financial services experience is required
  • Previous exposure to CREST desirable but not essential
  • Awareness of key FCA conduct and CASS rules
  • Willingness to work towards IOC exams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
