Colas are currently looking for an Administrator to join ourLeeds team Package DescriptionAs well as a highly competitive salary, Colas offers some great benefits with this role, including: A generous pension contribution Life assurance cover (x4 basic salary) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (with the option to buy/sell more) Flexible working policy Opportunity to study towards a professional qualification fully funded Ongoing training and personal/professional development Discounts on car leasing, holidays, cinema tickets, restaurants and much more through our online employee benefits portal Main ResponsibilitiesThis role involves undertaking all aspects of administration work, supporting office functions for a busy highways civil engineering team, assisting with efficient and ethical delivery of all secured contracts whilst ensuring compliance with all Qualityprocedures and safe working practices.You will be using company systems to raise purchase orders, match GRNs, payroll duties and cost capturing, these will all need to be done accurately and in a timely manor. This will also involve picking up on discrepancies and reporting to the manager. Thesesystems are also used to record on and off hires of plant ensuring correct cost allocation.The role involves maintaining detailed waste logs ensuring compliance with relevant waste management legislation and ensuring waste licences are current and correct.Colas are committed to safety and lowering environmental impact, this will mean all tasks you complete will be done with these two things in mind. The Ideal CandidateYou must be confident, driven and flexible in your approach to this role, as part of this team you will be expected to work under your own initiative and prioritise your own work load, whilst being committed to continuously improving for yourself and theteam.You will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and a working knowledge of health and safety.Strong ICT skills especially of Office are essential for this role, data input experience would be helpful. You will also have had some reception experience and good written and oral communication skills.
