Job Description

The Temps division at JHR are expanding. Due to continued growth we urgently need an Administrator to join the team on a full time basis. The individual’s qualities are more important than specific experience however it is essential you have excellent communication skills and outstanding written English. An accurate worker is vital for the role and someone able to work at pace. We are ideally looking for someone on a temporary to permanent basis.Job ProfileWe expect our Administrators to be excellent team players, strong communicators, and natural conversationalists. This role is heavily administrative and will progressively also become customer focused with a lot of your time being spent on the phone to candidates and clients. You will need to be confident in this environment and bring the same volume of energy to the table every day. Persistence and self-motivation are key to success in this role.ResponsibilitiesAs the Administrator on the Temporaries division, you will pro actively take responsibility for a wide ranging administrative function. This includes;

  • Compliance on all candidates and clients
  • Checking ID
  • Referencing
  • Writing and posting adverts and updating job boards
  • Working with a number of client portals to add new candidate profiles and Right to Work documentation
  • Managing candidate registration via the CRM system
  • Issuing clients and candidates with fully compliant booking information
  • Taking calls and dealing with a wide range of candidate queries
  • Assisting with payroll/chasing outstanding timesheets
  • Assisting with the production of statistics and reports for various clients
  • Completing DBS and credit checks
  • A wide range of ad hoc duties that occur on a temps desk daily
  • Once you are fully conversant with the administrative aspects of the role you will also provide support to the team in the capacity of a Resourcer. Further duties would then include assisting with the maintenance of a very healthy pipeline of high calibre candidates who will be suitable for recruitment campaigns managed by Account Managers and Consultants. This role is fundamental in ensuring consistent success, primarily across volume recruitment campaigns. You will develop strong working relationships internally with the team and work closely with them daily to identify the urgent campaigns requiring your support. The administration will still be your main objective but there will be plenty of opportunity to work with the team on resourcing.Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:
  • Excellent spelling and grammar; impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT literacy; previous use of CRM systems would be an advantage
  • Experience in quickly establishing relationships via telephone
  • Ability to juggle tasks and react to changing deadlines and objectives
  • Accuracy is paramount
  • Able to produce and demonstrate experience of having worked to, achieved, and ideally exceeded targets
  • Excellent team player
  • You will have the opportunity to learn from many different colleagues and support on a variety of recruitment campaigns, ultimately enabling you to shape your niche and carve your path in recruitment longer-term.Hours: 39.5 per week, ideally 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 to 5 Friday with 1 hour lunch.Salary: £19,000 pa (with the potential to earn commission relating to the resourcing aspect of the role from 2022).Location: This will be office based on a full time basis for at least 3 months with the prospect of some days being home based once fully trained and competent in the role.
