An exciting opportunity has arisen for a brand new role within our learning disability respite service.If you have experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, have a passion for improving the health and lives of those who access the service, as well as experience and skills in co-ordinating, planning and delivering activities within inpatient settings, we would love to hear from you.This role is full time and will be split between challenging behaviour respite and complex multiple impairment respite based at 2 and 3 Woodlands Square.We work in a person centred and inclusive manner, providing comprehensive and effective nursing care to meet the needs of our service users, aiming to reduce the likelihood of hospital admission and home / placement breakdown whilst working closely with community services and external providers.Successful applicants will be given a trust and service induction, clinical and managerial supervision from a combination of nursing staff and occupational therapists, as well as learning opportunities relevant to the role.For informal visits or any further information, please contact:-Sarah Russo- Matron for Learning Disability Inpatients- Linda Watkinson- Clinical Team Manager-
