Job Description

IPS Finance are working with a leading business who are opening up a new office in the centre of Leeds. They pride themselves on their long-term relationships with clients, redefining the approach to business support using technology to offer a high level of service for broking clients.The RoleThe primary objective of this role is to provide the highest quality accounting support to key stakeholders and external customers.

  • Collection of unpaid monies, ensuring all liabilities are settled within agreed terms.
  • Ensure accounting ledgers are maintained and up to date.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ensure outstanding cash under query with underwriters and placing brokers are actioned and corresponding monthly reports prepared.
  • Prepare and dispatch statement of accounts.
  • Ensure client money payments to third-party placing brokers are paid promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations on a regular basis and deal with queries.
  • Maintain and monitor the Insurers log on a regular basis.
  • Management and minimisation of aged creditors and unallocated cash.
  • Undertake responsibility of Monthly Paid Bordereaux.
  • Agreement and settlement of the bordereaux; including investigating queries and amendments with the technical teams.
