Elevation Accountancy and Finance are working in partnership with a fantastic business based in Morley who are looking for a hardworking and ambitious Finance Assistant to join them on a permanent full time basis with hybrid working!Your role will predominately assist the Finance team in overseeing the Purchase Ledger, Sales ledger and Credit Control of the business as well as assisting with payroll and finance support. As a Finance Assistant your key duties will involve:* Develop and maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships and continually promote the Company values and reputation* Obtaining/Posting/Reconciling credit card statements* Calculating commissions* Responsible for the employee attendance programme to include training and upkeep* Processing of miscellaneous payments* Processing debit/credit card payments * Scanning and filing all relevant paperwork* Covering the Sales / Purchase Ledger function in times of leave or busy periodsThe ideal candidate will have:* Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the phone to internal and external stakeholders at all levels* Prior experience of working in a similar role (office environment / customer service focused)* High level of attention to detail* Ability to work alone or as part of a team* Able to plan, organise and manage own workload* Able to respond effectively to changing priorities* Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and WordThis an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking company which can offer an enjoyable and stable working environment and offer a host of developmental and progression opportunities to grow!If you meet the criteria for this role, and are interested in being put forward please do not hesitate to apply or contact Sophie Hodgson to discuss.
