Our client are a leading food processor and distributor having nation wide presence. They are currently seeking an experienced accounts assistant to join their small, busy office in Leeds.This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and will train whilst in the role.The main duties of the role include stock control, cashiering, cashbook entries, reconciling driver stock balances, dealing with daily customer and supplier queries and credit control.This is an all-round position which would suit a "hands on" personThe ideal candidate should have excellent administrative skills along with a good communication skills, must be IT literate including the Microsoft Office suite (excel is essential), detail oriented and able to prioritise work load demonstratinggood organising skills. The candidate must be confident dealing with external parties and be a team player.Due to nature of the role, a DBS check will be carried out on the potential candidateWorking Pattern: Mondays to Saturdays from 07:30am to 15:30pm with alternating Thursdays/Saturdays off. Some overtime may be necessary.
