Job Description

Account ManagerAre you looking for more freedom, a bigger challenge and to be part of a business that thrives on teamwork and innovation We are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to work for a high growth, multi-award-winning company based in Leeds that supplies engineering based products to customers in over 100 countries with a large customer base in the USA.Working as part of a small team, you will be the face and voice of the business as the first point of contact for new and existing customers.The role of Account Manager will involve the following:Managing Sales Pipeline: First point of contact for all internal telephone calls and all incoming sales emails, ensuring all quotes are followed through to their conclusion using a Sage CRM systemManaging Key Accounts: Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and ensuring all account information is updated as well as new business opportunities to identify new Key AccountsMaximising Client Satisfaction: Ensuring all telephone/email conversations are courteous & professional, making sure that customers are fully informed as to the status of their order and dealing with any issuesTargeting New/Inactive Business Opportunities: Developing new prospects from their E-Commerce customer database, working with marketing colleagues to ensure joined up thinking and assisting in the delivery of marketing led projectsReporting: Reporting on KPIs & sales stats at monthly meetingsThis is a career opportunity for an ambitious, genuine individual who will be supported in many ways both personally and professionally. Your responsibilities are wide ranging and challenging, this is an extremely rewarding role and one of extreme importance to the business as many of the key relationships in the business will be channelled through you.

  • Salary £26-28K (includes US shift allowance, one week in four 3-10pm based from home)
  • 28 days holiday (increases by 1 day per year)
