CK Group are recruiting for a 3D CAD Custom Design Engineer to join a company in the Medical Device industry at their site based in Leeds on a contract basis for 6 months.Company:Our client is a multinational medical devices, pharmaceutical and materials.Location: This 3D CAD Custom Design Engineer role will be based at our clients site in Leeds, Yorkshire. Salary:£18.05 per hour PAYE.3D CAD Customer Design Engineer Role:To drive the design of customised implants and instruments, to deliver design solutions for the Made to Order (MTO) business unit, using the latest technologies and delivering to challenging lead times to meet both customer and business requirements.Your Background:- Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, and Product Design- Experience of the medical device industry, including detailed knowledge of the processes and equipment used in implant and instrument manufacturing.- Applied knowledge of high-end 3D CAD systems.- Working knowledge of design standards and practices (ISO and ASME).- Practical knowledge of General Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).- Practical knowledge of GMP disciplines.- Experience of project management and problem solving.Apply:For more information or to apply for this 3D CAD Customer Design Engineer position, please contact CK Group, quoting job ref 49117.It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
