Job Description

Our 2nd line Technical Support team within Community Pharmacy have an exciting opportunity that requires a customer focused, logical thinking and proactive analyst with a good understanding of SQL. Reporting directly to the Support Team Leader you will providean excellent level of support on technical issues, regularly liaising with both 3rd party suppliers and customers as part of this process.The role specifically focuses on investigating escalated queries from 1st line which require more complex analysis and resolution. You`ll also look to identify trends and search for longer term solutions to reoccurring issues that are reported to the servicedesk.Other responsibilities will include:

  • Raising problem cases to be reviewed / investigated by the CAB as required, and ensuring that the outcome is followed through to completion.
  • Providing specialised knowledge in certain areas and act as a main point of contact for the service desk team and other stakeholders;
  • Working closely with 1st Line Support Analysts to build up their knowledge base.
Core hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 18:00 and you will be required to work flexible shifts in line with business requirements with 2 days in the office.What youll bringThese are the skills and experience youll need to set yourself up for success for this role, however wed still love to talk to you even if you dont tick all of them;
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Previous experience of supporting software and interfaces
  • Previous Community Pharmacy experience would be highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
