Job Description

Principal Resourcing are actively working to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in Leeds, LS11.You will to work as a 1:1 Support for a range of children, across the years. The childrens needs include Visual impairment and ASD.The role will be to start as soon as possible and will be on going. The role is 5 days a week and you can expect to earn up to £90 per day based on experience.If you feel passionately about supporting young learners and are a flexible and creative thinker to maximise pupil engagement, we want to hear from you!Within the role you will be required to:

  • Support and enthuse learners to reach their potential
  • React to childrens interests to engage their learning opportunities
  • Provide opportunities that will excite and ignite a passion for learning
  • Deliver planned guided work
  • work 1:1 to support the childs complex needs
Skills and attributes:
  • Cache Level 3 or equivalent or experience working within a setting
  • KS1 experience and KS2 is advantageous
  • Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference
  • An observant and responsive approach
  • A positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • SEN experience is an advantage
