Job Description

The Boxford Group is looking for a HR Administrator to join the team in this award-winning, family-owned Group of Businesses. This role is ideal for someone looking for a career in HR or someone who has excellent administration skills and a keen interest in HR.The HR Administrator will join an established team, dealing with a wide range of HR activities across the Businesses. This role will be key in supporting the HR Function to appropriately manage, monitor and deliver HR Services.The role will evolve with our growing business, but initial responsibilities will include;

  • All administration support across the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide the line managers with appropriate documentation and information relating to Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all correspondence is professional and to a high standard.
  • Administer the Company HR system.
  • Minute taking in HR meetings.
  • Keep Company structure charts updated.
  • Support the line managers in recruitment process, including job descriptions, person specifications, advert design, CV screening etc.
  • Draft and distribute Company Handbook and Contracts.
  • Deliver Company induction and assist with on boarding process for all new starters.
  • Manage and monitor mandatory training records.
  • Provide monthly training reports.
  • Support the L&D design and training.
  • Manage all apprenticeship admin.
  • Assist line managers in performance reviews and identifying training needs.
  • Support line managers in monitoring and managing sickness absence.
  • Assist where required in investigatory/Grievance and Disciplinary meetings.
  • Managing employee personal records.
  • Produce accurate and timely HR correspondence.
  • Support H&S Manager to keep up to date and implement any new COVID restrictions.
  • Any other duty required.
  • Technical skills
  • At or working towards CIPDL3 qualification (desired not required)
  • Knowledge and experience in UK and EU case law.
  • Experience in typing highly confidential documents.
  • Educated to a min A Level standard.
  • Proficient IT skills in all Microsoft Office packages.
