Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sheltered Scheme Manager to join the Clarion Housing Group to ensure the safety and security of the resident home based in Bookham, Surrey.This is a part time, ongoing temporary position working 27,5 hours a week.Pay rate: £11.5 / hourHours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 3 pm.Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To be a key-holder for the building and ensure security of the communal areas and facilities.
  • To be the first point of contact and manage access to the building for residents and visitors.
  • Allow access to utility companies for essential maintenance.
  • Manage and monitor the communal areas.
  • Monitor cleaning staff to ensure the property conditions are maintained.
  • Monitor and advise tenants on the management of their rent accounts.
  • Carry out regular inspections of the building to identify and resolve repair, maintenance and security issues.
  • Carry out testing of communal emergency lighting and fire fighting equipment in line with health and safety processes.
  • Carry out health and safety inspections of the building and record the outcomes.
    • The successful candidate will have:
  • Facilities management experience
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your workload
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Overall knowledge and experience of working with older people
  • Good IT skills (word/excel/outlook/ in-house systems)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the housing/building management sector
  • Understanding or experience of health and safety issues and management
