Your future duties and responsibilitiesWe are currently preparing to deliver a cutting-edge operations planning system for a high-profile SatComs operator. The successful candidate will form part of the development team within the Space Control Data Platforms and Applications and Information Solutionsbusiness unit sector, initially to deliver this project. The Space market and digital platforms are evolving quickly providing many exciting opportunities for CGI and members able to take advantage.Working with a highly experienced team, the successful candidate will be able to work in an agile environment, delivering excellent quality code against customer requirements and responding well to change. They will take responsibility appropriate to theirseniority for the design of their code and review of others, and be able to test their code rigorously. They will work with the test team to identify, prioritise and fix any defects before delivery to the customer. They will take part in internal and customerworkshops to plan, review, and problem-solve.We are looking for senior developer to join the team.Responsibilities:Work as part of the development team to deliver new capability to the customer while improving earlier iterations of the system;Take an active part in design appropriate to their seniority changes; Produce and update documentation at a defined standard;Design, code, and unit test assigned work packages;Support factory acceptance, FAT/SAT, user acceptance system testing and other assurance activities.
