Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 4 x Pricing Process Improvement Managers to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum, based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead (the role willinvolve a mixture of working from home and working from the office).This is a full-time temporary role to ideally start on 23rd Jan 2023 for 6 Months (with possibility of extension), working a 36.25-hour week, to start ASAP. This role is paying up to £60,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.Function - Customer Operations covering activities linking Sales Operations, Supply Chain and FinanceJob PurposeUL UK and Ireland has launched a transformation program combining new technologies with process and organisational changes to deliver a simplified end-to-end transactional process covering business planning and the complete order to cash cycle (iOps project).The purpose of this role is to work closely with the operational team to drive simplification by implementing standardised ways of working using the new technology, in the new organisational design with a particular focus on Pricing Changes with our Customers.This involves reinforcing the objectives of the design, clarifying new responsibilities and the cause and effect of an individuals role in the E2E process and how to use the new technology and data analytics to deliver against SLAs and KPIs.You will be working alongside the users on a daily basis to coach them, track progress, capture pain points, identify the root causes and implement changes to address them. Although the role will focus on Pricing Changes, the scope includes identifying andworking on other pain points so that we can improve the overall ways of working between the new teams.This is a hands-on role where you will gain a deep understanding of the processes in Customer Operations and provides a development opportunity for anyone who aspires to a leadership or management role in Business Planning, Supply Chain, Finance or Commercialoperations.Responsibilities

  • Gain a detailed understanding of the processes for Pricing and business planning and setting up customer promotions, pricing and rebates.
  • Coach users to adhere to the version of the processes and coordinate the end-to-end activities across the user teams involved
  • Understand issues and challenges and problem solve with users to eliminate them.
  • Where an issue affects more than one customer or business unit team, develop and document best practice, create training materials and implement the change through engagement and training with all teams.
Skills and Experience
  • A passion for continuous improvement and intolerance of duplication and rework
  • Experience of process and/or technology change as either a user or a project leader.
  • Empathetic and supportive style to help users adopt and embed change.
  • Good communication skills, adapting style and content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to do operational tasks during transitions.
  • Understand process improvement methodology and use of process controls through change.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of numerical data accurately.
  • Working with/lead a team of functional SMEs who are not direct reports.
  • Knowledge of trade promotions/pricing/rebate/payment/invoicing/claims modules of SAP beneficial, but not essential.
  • Ability to work on a range of project deliverables simultaneously and flexibility to change workplan if new higher priorities are identified and required to meet a project go-live timing
