Job Description

Finance Manager£37,000 - £42,000 + benefits (including 25 days annual leave and pension)Leatherhead, Surrey (flexible working options available)We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to support the Director of Finance & Operations in delivering accurate reporting and financial analysis to enable the growth of the charity. This is an exciting time for ourteam and the right candidate will have experience in finance system implementations or be motivated by this prospect.As Finance manager your primary responsibilities will be the delivery of accurate management accounts and the preparation of the year-end accounts to trial balance for both the Charity and its subsidiary. You will be an excellent people manager and the successof this role will be dependent on effective business partnering with the Care Managers across our regional teams.You will have a good working knowledge of Charities SORP, financial and regulatory compliance as well as a keen awareness of fraud prevention. The right candidate will be adept at keeping financial policies and procedures updated and will ensure robust compliancethroughout the organisation.Location: This role is based at our Head Office in Leatherhead Surrey; however, we offer the flexibility to work from home for a portion of the week.What we’re looking for:Steady and consistent with strong attention to detail - you work at a faster than average pace whilst maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.A patient, helpful and professional team member - you are comfortable working within established policies and procedures, leading by example to ensure compliance with financial regulations, and building effective working relationships.Proficient in accountancy software (currently Sage Line 50) and knowledge of Charity SORP and reporting - you are well organised, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and are comfortable with pressure and challenge, managing multiple complextasks simultaneously.Skilled in the interpretation and analysis of financial performance - you have proven experience of transaction processing with strategic input and of managing payrollProfessional experience of working as a Finance Manager or similar - you have a formal accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) either full qualified or part-qualified with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.What we offer:We have a range of fantastic benefits that we offer our employees, this includes.
