Job Description

Are you an experienced Technical Assistant with excellent customer support skillsWe are currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant, to work within our Customer Support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative engineering Company and use your skills and extensive knowledge within a supportive, engaging, and fastpaced team environment.This role is reporting to the Head of Customer Support and assisting with all aspects of customer support as well as interacting with other teams within the business both internal and external.Key responsibilities:

  • Produce daily field reports
  • Communicate with team members and other departments on a daily basis
  • Support the update/creation of various equipment operation manuals
  • Provide support with the stock control system via the SAP system
  • Assist in producing training documentation
  • Keeping information up to date on the internal FRACAS system
  • Administering the online distributor web portal
  • Supporting meetings
  • Assisting with spare parts global shipping
  • Working with field telemetry data and administering the system

  • ONC Level or equivalent
  • Background working in Engineering/Manufacturing
  • Good working knowledge of MS office, especially MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher
  • Able to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of publication layouts and their production (advantageous)
  • Previous experience with SAP1B and FRACAS systems (advantageous)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability in attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy
  • Good people skills and an ability to function within a team environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative
